Email marketing can be a very effective way to sponsor more representatives to your network marketing business, affiliate program, or direct sales program. It is no secret that many successful online marketers prefer this type of marketing, because the possibilities are endless.
The primary goal is to make money through your autoresponder email marketing campaign, but you have to be patient. The last thing you want to do is spam the email recipient with your sales pitch. Doing a sales pitch through your emails with out building trust or a relationships first is the biggest mistake you can do. This will just cause the them to unsubscribe from your list.
How can you have effective email marketing campaign with pitching and selling your primary program?
The first autoresponder emails needs to be an ice breaker. Let them know that you are a real person. Give them a brief bio about yourself. Invite them to your social media websites like twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. Leave your personal email and contact information. This is the best way to build trust and a good relationship. You are bringing the curtains down and allowing them to be part of your social inner circle. People loves this, it makes them feel more connected to you. Also by giving them your contact information, they will have more peace of mind, knowing that you are not trying to scam them.
The following autoresponding emails of your campaign should always give value. Educating the reader, by giving them tips or recommendations. Guiding them to good content about your niche or product. You can also ask them to take a look at something that they might find interesting and useful. This makes you look like an expert and gives you a bit more authority.
It is very important to implement the 90/10 rule to your email marketing campaign. 90% of the e-mail needs to be value based information, tips, training, recommendation. 10% of your follow up email needs to me marketing or promotional related. Your call to action or promotion can be in your PS at the end of your email. It can be something like this “Hey, I’ve been using this marketing tactic to grow my primary business, you can get a complete review at www. yoursite. com”
Email marketers also implement the funded proposal concept with there emails. Inviting them to review your affiliate funded proposal site, where they can learn more about marketing or a specific marketing tactic. This offers them value by guiding them to a good resource or tool that they can find useful. And if they decide to purchase this product, you get paid on it.
Having and effective email marketing campaign can be simple and profitable if you just follow this simple formula:
1. Introduction or Break the Ice emails: Helps lower skepticism and builds trust.
2. Educate/ Review emails: Allows you to give value by sharing good content, tips and info while recommending they take a look at something interesting.
4. Train and Recommend emails: Take a marketing tactic and teach it. Then add a recommendation at the end of the email (PS) to direct your prospect to the funded proposal site you want them to review.
5. Promote. Soft promotion: Take a specific program or product you promote and write a soft promotion on the top benefits and features you enjoy from it, and recommend they take a look.
6. The 90/10 Rule: Offer 90% value and 10% promotions in most of your emails.
If you use email marketing to promote your business or opportunity, I recommend you tweak it a bit and implement these tactics. They work.
Aldo Gonzalez is an entrepreneur who learned how to leverage the power of the internet to run a successful business. Frankly, Aldo did not do anything extraordinary. He just stumble upon a great team of online marketers, and followed their step-by-step system that changed his life for ever.
Promoting your business with article marketing is a well known way to internet marketers. But what if I tell you how to multiply your campaign with the same number of articles? It is not only important to write articles, it is also beneficial to combine them with blogs to make them more effective in generating traffic to your site. In brief, the method is – create a new blog in a niche area, write articles and post them to the blog and rewrite them and post to article directories. Let me explain the significance of each step in more detail.
1. A blog in a niche market: A blog is a powerful means of generating traffic and building a list for your business. Set up a blog focusing on a niche area. Choose the niche based on what your target market is searching for. For this you will need to perform some keyword research using tools like Google Keyword tool and Micro Niche Finder. Your objective must be to create the blog to address the specific needs of the target audience. Whether you are selling affiliate products or your own products, having a blog is the first step. It does not help to direct the reader to the affiliate site directly without first visiting a blog or a landing page.
2. Write articles for the blog: The biggest factor in getting traffic to your blog is its content. If you are writing quality content which is also original and helpful, then you will get more visitors coming to your blog. Writing one article is not enough; you must continue to write regularly. 2-3 postings per week should be good enough. You must also use feed engines to let the search engines know that you have added a new posting to the blog.
3. Submit the same articles rewritten to article directories: Always write the original full length article for your blog. That way you have more control on how you want to add or update the content. But you must also put up a teaser article in ezine directories. It is like putting up a demo product in supermarkets which drives the traffic to your store. For article directories, you need to use some parts of the original content which is most interesting to the reader. Then direct the reader to the original article or the full article through the link in your resource box
If you follow this technique, you will improve the effectiveness of your article marketing campaign drastically as compared to when you are directing the traffic from the articles to your product site.
Many people are skeptical regarding search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) agencies. They assume that the efforts put forth by online marketing are fruitless. Unfortunately, the old standby “if you build it they will come” doesn’t apply to the Internet world.
If you were to open a storefront wouldn’t you purchase a sign to hang out front? Search engine marketing is done for the same reasons. With tens of billions of other websites out there it takes a little effort to ensure that potential customers are able to find you when they need your products or service.
What types of search engine marketing are available?
There are two main approaches when it comes to ensuring your website is listed at the top of the SERPs (search engine results page). The first is what is traditionally called search engine optimization (SEO) where the content and architecture of your website is altered to make your content more easily readable by the search engine spiders. The other approach is to advertise your website with key searches that will attract customers with the highest rate of conversion. A conversion is defined as a visitor to your website that turns into a sales lead or a complete sale.
Should I start with paid or organic search?
There are some major differences between pay per click (PPC) and natural or organic search. When you spend advertising dollars it is generally referred to as paid search. When you change the content of your website it is called natural or organic search optimization. A notable difference is that with paid search, you have the luxury of advertising on a wide variety of key phrases and are able to track the results on an individual basis. With natural search you will be forced to focus on a small set of well-trafficked key phrases.
By starting with paid search you will be able to gather valuable data regarding your most effective key phrases. Using this data you will be able to better target key phrases for a natural optimization campaign.
Unfortunately, most search marketing agencies still start with natural or organic search optimization. Generally this is done as it is more profitable for the search marketing agency. This is because less money goes toward the agency with a paid search campaign than with a natural search campaign. With a paid search campaign, the bulk of the budget is used to pay Google, Yahoo and MSN for advertising rather than for work within the agency itself. However, there is an exception to this rule. If your business has an extremely niche market then the effort to optimize your key phrases organically is rather minimal. In this situation it would make more sense to start and end with natural search engine optimization.
Finally, with paid search marketing you will only be paying for actual visitors to your website. Natural optimization requires that you invest funds in the prospect of sending visitors to your website. For this reason, your investment in online marketing is better protected with a paid search campaign.
What are considerations in the key phrase research process?
A key phrase is the actual search term that your customer will enter into a search engine in the hopes of finding a suitable website. Key phrase research with paid search marketing allows you to evaluate thousands of key phrases at once. Natural search requires focusing on a select few before expending significant resources. Ideally, once the key phrases have been selected the performance will be recorded and analyzed for a click through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CR). This data can then be compared with the competitiveness of the key phrases to find to most cost effective key phrases. The price of advertising on each key phrase will vary based on the competitiveness of that phrase in that particular search engine.
How are the results measured and reported?
Measuring the results for paid marketing is much easier than for natural optimization. Still, it can be done for both. Most of the time you will receive a report that shows the placement of your best ranking key phrases. However, they should also be talking about tangible things like measurable traffic (visitors) and conversions. If your agency does not provide you with plentiful reports you should be asking why not.
The best reporting will tie the marketing efforts directly to the goals of the website. If the website’s purpose is to generate sales directly, the sales must be able to be tied directly back to the source of the traffic. Similarly, if the website generates leads then the lead needs to be traced back to the key phrase and originating search engine.
How will my site be submitted to the search engines?
Be very cautious when a search marketing agency indicates that they will submit your website to search engines. The fact is that the only effort it takes to have your site indexed by the search engines is to have it exist in cyberspace. Search engines regularly crawl lists of newly registered domains. For this reason, to be listed in the top search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) you should not need to pay anyone.
If you search for a website submission program you will undoubtedly find companies offering to submit your site to thousands of small search engines for a fee. Keep in mind that nearly all of your search engine related traffic will come from Google, Yahoo and MSN. Submitting to these other search engines is generally a waste of time and money. These types of mass submissions can also been seen as SEO spam and in a worst case scenario could have your website removed entirely from the major search engines.
What is the process of your link building strategy?
Link building is extremely important to your ranking in Google. This is because link building is the result of a 3rd party endorsement for your website rather than on-page efforts that you can perform yourself. Ensure that your search marketing agency provides link building on a regular basis.
Some agencies simply drive traffic to your site rather than place high quality links. They do this by building their own websites and then linking to yours. While this will produce results for your search marketing campaign, it’s important to keep in mind that your success is riding on the shoulders of a website in complete control of your SEO agency. If you choose to discontinue your relationship, your website ranking will fall extremely quickly and you will be starting over. An easy way to avoid this is to ask for a backlink report to be included in your regular reporting portfolio.
Have any of your clients every been blacklisted?
There are a group of search engine optimization techniques that are high risk and can result in penalties being given by the major search engines which include removal from their index entirely. While it is not impossible to recover from this situation, it would be preferable to never be placed there in the first place.
Despite some positive signs that the economy is slowly but surely improving, the unemployment rate continues to rise across the country along with home foreclosures. This is a condition that is not going away overnight, and people directly affected by it are looking for ways to survive in the interim.
There are many money making scams floating around and stories of how to “get rich quick.” There are also some legitimate alternatives that may not bring overnight success, but certainly have the potential for longer term benefits. One of these alternatives is network marketing, or multi-level marketing.
In the past, network marketing carried with it a very negative stigma and whispers of “pyramid scheme” followed the footsteps of those who chose to become involved with these types of companies. Some companies were guilty of strongly resembling a pyramid scheme, defined by Wikipedia as “a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, often without any product or service being delivered.” However, many well established companies such as Mary Kay, Amway and Avon are legitimate businesses with products and / or services. Just because the representatives have the opportunity to draw more reps into the business and earn commission from those reps sales, does not automatically dictate a pyramid scheme. In fact, have you looked at a traditional company organizational chart? Isn’t there one person, the President or CEO at the very top who makes the most money? Below that person are several Vice Presidents who also earn a high level salary. Below the Vice Presidents are managers, supervisors and then general employees. Typically, with each position, the salary is based on how high up in the organization you are.
Network marketing has several advantages over traditional businesses as far as employment opportunities go:
Not only do the legal non-discriminatory rules apply (race, sex, religion, etc.), but you don’t need to have a formal education, not even a high school diploma (although generally you need to be able to read and write). If you can find a sponsor and pay the start up costs, you most likely will be accepted.
Your potential is limited only by the amount of effort you are willing to put into the organization, not by some employer determining how much you’re worth and paying you a salary.
You can earn more than the people who came into the organization before you. If you’re putting forth more effort than they are, you can exceed them, and they will thank you for it!
Network marketing companies offer more training and marketing resources than ever before. You should make sure that the company you join does offer these things. Many even teach you how to market on the internet.
You can choose from virtually unlimited products and services to promote and sell. Network marketing isn’t just about make-up and vitamins anymore!
Together, network marketing companies generated $28.7 billion in U.S. sales in 2002, according to the Direct Selling Association (DSA), a lobbying association that represents network marketers and other companies who sell directly to consumers. (taken from an internet article at Microsoft Small Business Center, by Monte Enbysk).
I’m not saying that making money at network marketing is easy. A lot of jobs are not easy, and they don’t offer you the financial and physical freedom that can come from being your own boss. So you can choose to work hard to make someone else a lot of money, or you can choose to work hard at learning some new skills that will enable you to make a lot of money for yourself and your family, and eliminate restrictions on your valuable time and financial resources. If circumstances are forcing you to make a change anyway, you really don’t have that much to lose, and you have a lot to gain!
